$100,000 and a Mini Bus for Parklands Community Partner – Southport Special School

As many would remember, the Parklands team selected the neighbouring Southport Special School as its fund raising partner. Over $100,000 was raised through a variety of activities including raffles, auctions, dollar coin donations, paid carparking and strategic partner contributions. In addition to the funds raised, GOLDOC, with Grocon’s advocacy, donated to the school a disability adapted mini bus used during the Games, that is worth over $70,000. This initiative was greatly received and appreciated by the students and teaching staff at Southport Special School.

A great example of our projects living the core values of our business, Safety Community, Innovation & Sustainability.

Congratulations to all the Parklands team, GOLDOC and Sub Contractors involved.
